Packaging
Your eggs travel in an Eggspress Safe carton, an Australian-made insulated foam carton that holds each egg snugly, pointy end down, in its own padded cell. One carton holds a dozen, and two dozen travel together in the one Express Post satchel.

How it works

- Place your order online.
- After you order, we collect the freshest eggs from hens running with our roosters.
- We usually post on Mondays by Express Post, so your eggs spend the least time possible in transit over a weekend.
- Set your eggs on arrival for the best result.
Supply is limited. Our flock is small and still growing, and hens lay to the season, so eggs are offered as they become available. If eggs are not listed, please check back soon.
Where we post
- We post to Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, the ACT, Queensland and South Australia.
- We don't post to Western Australia or the Northern Territory.
- We do not post overseas.
Postage is to those states only.
Pickup from the farm can be arranged by appointment.
Hatch rates
Fertile eggs are a living product and travel by post. We pack every egg with care, but once a parcel leaves us, handling, temperature and incubation are outside our control. For this reason we cannot guarantee fertility or hatch rates, and we do not offer refunds for eggs that fail to hatch. If a parcel arrives badly damaged, send us photos on the day it arrives and we will talk it through with you.
FAQ
When will my eggs be posted?
Usually on the Monday after you order. We will email you when your parcel is on its way.
How fresh are the eggs?
They are collected in the days leading up to posting, from hens running with our roosters.
Can I eat them?
These eggs are sold for hatching only, not for eating.
What should I do when they arrive?
Unpack them gently, check for cracks, and let them rest pointy end down for a few hours before setting them in your incubator or under a broody hen.
Will I get roosters?
Yes, roughly half of the chicks hatched are likely to be males. Please plan for them before you hatch.
Can I order more than 2 dozen?
Get in touch and we will see what our hens can supply. Postage for larger orders is quoted separately.
Is postage cheaper for 1 dozen?
No. Express Post is a flat $38.50 for up to 2 dozen in the one parcel.
